Above all else, the wellbeing of our students is paramount and at Saint Kentigern Girls' School, you can expect the very best care for your daughter.
Our pastoral care system aims to care for the whole student through positive awareness and care of one another.
This is borne out through small class sizes at primary level, along with a dedicated team of staff who monitor every student’s progress - socially, academically and emotionally.
Our students develop trusting relationships with their tutors and teachers and enjoy an environment where, as a result of school policies, issues such as bullying, should it occur, can be dealt with and monitored promptly.
Peer Support
Peer support also plays an integral part in developing a sense of connection and wellbeing with organised support encouraged through the Big Sister programme at the Girls’ School. Year 8 students from the Girls’ School offer leadership in the Preschool.
Students who need a little more care than usual have access to outside agencies who are highly skilled in supporting youth in need of counselling.
Combined with the strong values messages explored at Chapel and through Christian education classes, our students are guided towards life as well-rounded and caring individuals.
