About Us
Our Heritage
Our Chapel
The Chapel of Saint Kentigern is the cornerstone of our campus; a place where the Saint Kentigern community comes together to explore the Christian values upon which the College is founded and celebrate special occasions. Whilst Saint Kentigern is affiliated to the Presbyterian Church, we are respectful of the fact that our families represent many denominations and faiths. Our Chaplain delivers a sermon to the students once a week and each term our families are invited to join their sons and daughters at a Sunday evening Chapel Service.
The Saint Kentigern motto, Fides Servanda Est - The Faith Must Be Kept - presents us with a special challenge as we seek to encourage our students to know and love God and to serve others within and beyond our College community. The College actively supports those less fortunate, as part of its Christian ethos, and leads an active Service programme encouraging students to become involved at both a local level and further afield.
With a school community that reflects a variety of cultural and family backgrounds, we encourage the ideal of a Christian community where boys learn and grow in an environment of inclusiveness, mutual respect and care for one another. Whilst Saint Kentigern is affiliated to the Presbyterian Church, our families represent many denominations. In addition to our Christian Education programme, the boys join in worship once a week and twice a year our families are invited to join their sons for a family Chapel service.
The Saint Kentigern motto, ‘Fides Servanda Est - The Faith Must Be Kept ‘ encourages our boys to know and love God and to serve others within and beyond our school community. The School actively supports those less fortunate, as part of its Christian ethos, and leads an active Service programme encouraging our boys to become involved and offer help.
