To be considered for a Scholarship, applicants must be New Zealand citizens or hold New Zealand residency. Scholarships are awarded from the beginning of Year 7 and are for two years duration depending on the student’s positive attitude and commitment to School endeavours.
The online application is accessible via the link below. All applicants are required to sit an exam.
Scholarship Applications close Thursday 6 March 2025.
Examinations will be on Wednesday 12 March 2025.
An Alumni Scholarship is also available to a student with a Saint Kentigern family connection to a former student.
Scholarships are also available to those girls who wish to continue their secondary education at Saint Kentigern College in Year 9.
The primary consideration in making this award will be a student’s performance in the Scholarship examinations scheduled for Wednesday 12 March 2025
This is awarded to a girl entering Year 7 who displays all-round excellence in academic, sports and/or cultural fields.
This Scholarship is awarded to the girl entering Year 7 after an audition with the Head of Music and an interview with the Principal of the Girls’ School.
This scholarship is awarded to a girl entering Year 7 who displays excellence in one or more sporting fields. Representation in a sport at regional or national level.
This Scholarship is awarded to a girl entering Year 7 who displays excellence in the performing arts.
