2024 Scholarship Applications are now closed.

Saint Kentigern Girls' School is a leading, independent, Presbyterian school in Auckland. We offer a variety of scholarships at the Senior School level (Year 7-8).  Girls in Year 6, 2023, but not necessarily enrolled at Saint Kentigern, are eligible to apply for the awards which provide fees assistance for education at the School in Year 7 and 8.

Our goal of enabling exceptional students from all walks of life to achieve their dreams is founded in the Presbyterian values of contributing to society and seeking to help others aspire and achieve.

We are keen to reach out far and wide to young people who:

  • demonstrate excellence in Academics, Performing Arts, Sports, and/or a combination of these, i.e. All-Round talent
  • would uphold the Saint Kentigern values and have a positive attitude
  • have a clear vision of how they see themselves in the future and the contribution they would like to make to the school and wider community

To be considered for a Scholarship, applicants must be New Zealand citizens or hold New Zealand residency.  Scholarships are awarded from the beginning of Year 7 and are for two years duration depending on the student’s positive attitude and commitment to School endeavours.

Information and application forms can be downloaded from the link below and are also available from the School Admissions office. All applicants are required to sit an exam.
