As a part of the well-regarded Marketing Team, you will report to the Communications Manager and ensure that organisational key messages are communicated effectively in a variety of channels to stakeholders inside and outside of the organisation.
As Saint Kentigern is one of New Zealand largest private schools spanning four schools, there is complexity and challenge - so, no two days are the same! This role requires some strategic awareness, tactical acumen and the ability to adapt to the objectives of different key stakeholders.
As well as developing and implementing stakeholder and communications plans we are seeking an individual who has the ability to write compelling stories on school events that capture the essence of a Saint Kentigern education.
About you You'll have a proven track record for communications and engagement, the ability to handle many different communications projects and a keen eye for detail.
You'll show initiative and be a self-starter whilst also being a creative problem-solver.
This is a fast-paced, challenging role, we seek an individual who is flexible and a true team player.
Our ideal candidate also has:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in successfully developing and delivering effective communications and engagement strategies and plans
- Advanced skills in writing and editing communications material
- Ability to develop internal and external communications
- Experience building great working relationships with senior leaders and managers, staff, external stakeholders
- Experience planning and delivering multi-channel communications including social media and web content
