Saint Kentigern is founded on a strong tradition of philanthropy which has provided for generations of students to enjoy first class education and facilities. The Annual Giving Appeal is your opportunity to contribute to an enduring asset for the organisation.
Thank you for supporting our Teaching Garden Campaign.
Your generosity will support our students to transform a barren space into a vibrant and educational oasis.
The College has selected these areas to enhance the learning experiences of our students both inside and outside the classroom. These additional resources will directly benefit students in immediate and practical ways.
The Trust Board supports students and families in financial difficulties by providing targeted Bursaries for short periods of time. Additional donations will enable us to extend the assistance provided from the investment income of these funds.
Over the last 3 years the College provided financial support for over 50 families who are experiencing financial hardship. Thanks to this fund and the support it has provided, these students have been able to continue their education at the College.
Active learning hubs in the Goodfellow Centre provide students with opportunities to imagine, play, create, do and learn. With the right tools, training and inspiration students are free to push boundaries of what is possible. Rich in contemporary technologies, active learning hubs provide a free-to-fail, safe and supportive learning environment where the only limits are a student’s imagination, drive and curiosity. Inherently collaborative, active learning hubs embrace design thinking bringing ideas to reality.
We would like to add a desk-top laser cutter to the 3D print hub we have and create new hubs that engage in different ways e.g. wearable tech hub where we would add a sewing machine, vinyl printer, soldering kit and associated chips.
You can read more here about how our students use the Goodfellow Centre in this article published in the September 2019 edition of Interface Magazine.
Each year, the Old Collegians' Association via their Scholarship Trust make several scholarships available for students with a family connection to Saint Kentigern at any of the campuses. The recipients of these scholarships must be the child of an Old Collegian or have a family connection to an Old Collegian. These scholarships cover a percentage of the tuition fees. Additional donations will enable them to extend the assistance provided from the investment income of these funds.
