Year 3 Boys at Willow Park Camp

15 November 2025

This year, our Year 3 boys embarked on their very first camp experience at Willow Park, Eastern Beach. Over two days and one night, the camp was designed as an introduction to outdoor adventures, giving students the chance to grow through challenge, teamwork, and plenty of fun.

From the moment they arrived, excitement was palpable. The first day was packed with thrilling activities: giant stand-up paddle boarding, a coastal challenge led by one of our amazing parents, archery, and mountain biking. The boys showed incredible determination (especially on the biking ramps) and celebrated when one camper managed to hit the elusive bullseye during archery!

We were blessed with beautiful weather for the first day, and even when the rain arrived after lunch on day two, spirits stayed high as we moved into the gym for the final team-building rotations. These activities encouraged cooperation, problem-solving, and resilience. For many, this was their first night away from home, and while there were some nerves, the boys embraced the challenge with courage and enthusiasm. They tried every activity (and even the camp food!) with smiles and determination. By the end, they left feeling proud, more independent, and closer as a group.

A huge thank you goes to Big Foot Adventures, the incredible team at Willow Park, and our dedicated parent helpers who made this experience possible. Year 3 camp was a true success, full of laughter, learning, and unforgettable memories.
