About the role Reporting to our Property Team Leader, you will assist him and his 2IC on a daily basis with a variety of tasks, alongside a highly skilled and friendly team. Work hours - 7.30am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday
This variety includes using our Facilities Maintenance system to coordinate and track allocation of maintenance and grounds Work Orders, and record our Campus assets and Maintenance work.
You’ll also learn to programme our alarms and security system settings and ensure guards are arranged as appropriate. You may find yourself assisting with setting up for events that can take place during and after-school hours.
In addition, as a Property Administrator you will help the Property Team Leader to manage records involving contractors and suppliers (everything from records management, H&S, sourcing estimates/quotes and ensuring invoices reflect work completed).
As you are part of a wider team you will find yourself being hands-on when needed to cover traffic management or other relevant duties as required.
A relevant Degree or Diploma related to Facilities Management (e.g. DipFM or Degree in Property/Engineering/Applied/Building Science etc) that offer papers in Facilities Management would be preferred. General knowledge of building maintenance tasks would also be helpful for this role.
Skills and experience - 5 -7 years’ previous experience in Property administration
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Competency with Microsoft Office and a variety of systems
- Self-starter with problem solving and effective time management
- Organised planner and coordinator
- High level of English literacy
- Full Drivers Licence (clean)
- Physically fit
- Site Safe certificate preferred (but training can be provided)
- Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision
- Previous experience working to deadlines or in a fast-paced environment.
- Working with a variety of different people in different positions within companies
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to pick up different property administration systems.
