Kentoris Tours Singapore

Our premiere mixed voice choir, Kentoris, recently returned from a tour to Singapore, centred around the Singapore International Choral Festival. Seventy-three choirs from across the globe convened upon the tropical city for a week, engaging in workshops, collaborations, outreach performances, and the competition itself, all housed in spectacular venues.

Led by Director of Choral Music Matthew Leese, our students competed in the 19-and-under age group, as well as the open category for Sacred Music, returning with Gold and Silver awards, respectively.

Students represented our College superbly in all musical activities, as well as experiencing Singapore's inspiring culinary offerings and shopping, tours of the waterfront and iconic Merlion, Gardens by the Bay, and a river cruise of the historic district and inner harbour.

This tour was a significant performing and bonding experience for our singers, and we are grateful to all who made it possible.
