Project Update 25

25 August 2026

Year 12 and 13 Building: In Full View

In the first weeks of August, the final sections of shrink wrap and scaffolding came off the new Year 12 and 13 Building on the Pakuranga Campus, revealing its full façade for the first time since construction began. The brick and glass form is now clearly visible, both to those within the campus and to those driving past on Pakuranga Road. The Saint Kentigern crest has been installed on the Tamaki Wing, with a second to follow on the Chapel Wing.

With a little over three months of work remaining, focus will be on internal finishes and the extensive hard and soft landscaping surrounding the building. The new service road is nearly finished, with only security barriers, line marking, and signage still to be installed.

Procurement of all new furniture, whiteware, and classroom technology has been arranged, with fit-out expected to commence in early November as internal construction wraps up.

The project remains on track for completion ahead of the start of Term 1, 2027.
