Strong Student Achievement Across All NCEA Levels in 2025
Our 2025 senior students achieved outstanding results in the NCEA examinations across all year levels. Qualification rates remained consistently high, alongside a further lift in endorsement achievement, with an increasing proportion of students attaining Merit and Excellence.
Our students’ Level 3 qualification rate in 2025 increased from 96.7% in 2024 to 98.7%. In addition, 69.8% of students attained a Merit or Excellence endorsement, reflecting a solid depth of learning that supports readiness for tertiary study.
Among the cohort’s highest individual distinctions, Nadia Turner and Yasemin Atamer each attained a perfect 100% Excellence result at Level 3, an exceptional accomplishment at the highest NCEA qualification.
The University Entrance (UE) rate also increased in 2025, rising from 92.9% to 94.1%.
At Level 2, student outcomes continued to strengthen in 2025, with a qualification rate of 99%. Endorsement achievement also remained strong, with 33.6% of students gaining an Excellence endorsement and a further 48.2% achieving Merit, resulting in 81.8% of students attaining a Merit or Excellence endorsement. These results reflect both consistency and growth in achievement at this critical stage of senior school.
Level 1 results in 2025 also demonstrated positive progress, with 97% of students achieving the qualification. A combined 78.4% of students secured Merit or Excellence endorsements, including 30.2% at Excellence level, indicating strong engagement with learning and a solid foundation as they continue through the senior years.
