Records Fall on the Track
The Boys’ School Athletics Days took place across three dates at Lloyd Elsmore Park, giving each year group the chance to compete and hone their strength, speed, and determination. All qualities that define this annual event.
Year 7 and 8 opened the programme with disciplined performances and strong House spirit. The Year 3 to 6 day followed, highlighted by two record breakers: Eli Diekema in the Year 3 200m (35.74s) and Tennyson Stein, who cleared 1.20m in the Year 4 High Jump, a record set in the first year this event has been offered to Year 3 boys.
The Year 1 and 2 athletes rounded out the series with great enthusiasm, including fun races alongside championship events. Louie Campbell delivered a standout performance, setting a new Year 1 Ball Throw record at 20.51m.
Each age group produced its own champions, many achieving personal bests and pushing themselves in true Saint Kentigern fashion.
