Preschool Trip to Butterfly Creek

Saint Kentigern Preschool boarded the bus enthusiastically last week and headed out to Butterfly Creek for the day.

The children met ‘Scar’ a large Crocodile and discovered that he got his name from breaking through a corrugated fence and hurting his nose.

The children also spotted turtles, water dragons, skinks, monkey’s and of course, Butterflies. The butterflies were beautiful and some lucky children had butterflies landing on their heads, arms and hats.

Riding the Red Admiral Express train was a highlight for many of the children. It looped around the pond, through the wetlands and under the tunnel.
