Grandparents’ Morning at Preschool last week saw a huge turnout of Nanas, Poppas, Grandees, Grandmas, Grandads, Opas, Omas and many more  special people, all wanting to spend time with their grandchild.

The Grandparents and special guests enjoyed a delicious morning tea, after which they spent time playing with the children in the activities both inside and outside.

The children rose to the occasion as they sang some of their favourite songs to their captured and adoring audience, before each child presented their Grandparents with a personalised gift. These were individually drawn pictures of their Grandma and Grandad, with a touching poem and were given as a bookmark for a special keepsake.

Our Grandparents also had the opportunity to purchase a selection of books, maths and language games to be donated back to the library, and the response was amazing! The children are all looking forward to reading their new books and playing their new games.

The day was another highly successful Preschool event with great support from our families.
