Girls’ School Swimming Brings the Full School Poolside

11 March 2026

Swimming Sports at the Girls’ School unfolded in a single morning of finals racing, bringing every year level together poolside.

With heats completed earlier in the term, the day belonged to those who had earned their place in the finals. The format created a sense of occasion from the outset, with every race carrying weight and every swimmer stepping forward to represent their House.

From Year 1 through to Year 8, the full school covered the banks around the pool. The natural amphitheatre made for great viewing for cheering peers, parents, and teachers. House colours were on full display - flags waved, chants rang out, and supporter signs were held high by students.

Across the programme, swimmers rose to the moment. With no preliminary races to ease into, each event demanded immediate composure and confidence. The result was a series of closely contested finals, where every finish was hard-earned.
