Following the Middle School Cross Country this week, and after being postponed due to bad weather on Monday, the Junior School put their running shoes on today and raced around Martyn Wilson Field. Starting with the Year 2 students, followed by Years 0-3, the put their speed to the test.
Each student was required to run two laps of the field which proved to be a challenge for some, while others took it in their stride. Despite a tough race and cool breeze, the girls all achieved their personal best with the encouragement of their peers, teachers and families cheering from the side-lines.
Just like the Middle School, the girls were not only racing for podium places but also House points. Congratulations to Wishart House who not only won the Middle School Cross Country but also the Junior Schools event! Well done to all students who took part, particularly those who gained podium places.
