Best of luck to Year 9 student, Tommy Liu who will be travelling to the United States next week to represent New Zealand at the USKIDS Golf Teen World Championship in Pinehurst, North Carolina, competing in the age 13 Years Division.

Tommy will initially be receiving golf coaching by some of America’s top 20 golf coaches before competing in the tournament at the end of July.

The competition has attracted 150 champion players from 50 US states and over 30 countries from around the world in this age group. 

This is the second time that Tommy has qualified for this competition. Last year he placed 23^rd and is hoping to better his score this year. We wish him well!
