September 23, 2020 at 12:39 PM

During the 40 Hour Famine this year, Saint Kentigern College students raised a substantial total of $117,301 for World Vision. This was a fantastic achievement, being $7,593 over last year’s amount and with more than 180 students raising over $500.

Well done to our top fundraising student, Mia Denholm (Year 8) who raised $4,090, Year 13 student, Lulu Denholm who raised $3,285, Year 7 student, Yana Wong, who raised $2,690 and Year 7 student, Chloe Zheng who raised $2,561.

All three Saint Kentigern schools have had a long-standing relationship with World Vision and have collectively been one of the top fundraising schools in the country for many years – with last year’s total being $69,750.00. This year, due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the Girls’ School and Boys’ School did not take part collectively, instead, interested students raised funds individually.

Well done to all those who participated all funds raised will go towards supporting communities in Vanuatu.
