Year 12 and 13 Building: First Section of Building Facade Revealed

As students and staff returned to campus for Term 2, many will have noticed the first of the three main sections of the new Year 12 and 13 building on our Pakuranga Campus is now visible following the removal of its protective wrap, marking another significant milestone in the project. The newly revealed section provides the first clear view of the building’s exterior finish and architectural form.

Internal works continue to progress at pace throughout the building with subcontractor resource peaking at 140 on site.

Works over the coming months will include the removal of the final two sections of shrink wrap and scaffolding to reveal the full building façade, completion of the Forum space skylight and oculus, progression of the second fixed items and internal finishing inclusive of joinery installation in accordance with the three-phase construction programme.

The project is currently on track to achieve the goal of delivering a fully operational new facility for the start of Term 1, 2027.
