Saint Kentigern College offers education of real depth and breadth for students from Years 7 to 13. Our extensive co-curricular programme is an important part of College life, with sport providing students with opportunities to build confidence, teamwork, connection and a strong sense of belonging.
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Sport Administrator to join our Sports team for nine months, commencing in late August 2026 to allow for a handover before the current incumbent begins parental leave.
The Opportunity
This is a busy and varied role at the centre of the College’s extensive summer and winter sports programme.
You will play an important role in the administration and coordination of a portfolio of sporting codes, supporting fixtures, tournaments, trials, registrations, transport, team communications and major events. The role requires sound judgement, strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You will work closely with students, parents, coaches, Heads of Code, staff and external sporting organisations (as required), helping ensure that each programme is well coordinated and that students can participate fully in school, regional and national competition.
This role would suit an experienced administrator who enjoys variety, builds strong relationships and takes pride in keeping complex programmes running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- coordinate and administer a portfolio of summer and winter sporting codes;
- manage registrations, draws, transport and logistics for fixtures, tournaments and events;
- support Heads of Code with trials, team lists, bookings and competition entries;
- communicate effectively with students, parents, coaches, staff and external sporting organisations;
- coordinate the distribution and tracking of uniforms and equipment;
- maintain accurate records and ensure sports systems remain up to date; and
- assist with major College sporting events, including Athletics Day, prizegivings and sports awards.
You will bring:

- sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office and administrative systems.
