Saint Kentigern College is seeking expressions of interest from passionate and professional rowing coaches for the 2026/27 rowing season.
A range of contracted coaching positions may be available across the programme, including:
- Head Coach
- Senior Squad Coach
- Junior Squad Coach
- Novice/U15 Coach
- Assistant Coach
Coaches will contribute to the delivery of a positive, structured, and student-centred rowing programme aligned with the College’s values and expectations.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Planning and delivering training sessions
- Supporting athlete development and wellbeing
- Assisting with crew selections and regatta preparation
- Maintaining clear and professional communication with students, parents, and staff
- Upholding strong professional and behavioural standards
- Supporting a safe, inclusive, and positive team culture
Skills & Experience
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
- Previous rowing coaching experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a coaching team
- Commitment to positive athlete development and student wellbeing
- A commitment to maintaining appropriate professional boundaries and conduct expectations within a school environment
Roles may involve:
- Early morning trainings
- After-school sessions
- Weekend regattas
- Training camps during the season
All appointments will be subject to satisfactory safety checking and police vetting requirements.
