An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Property Services Assistant to join our property team, working across the Shore Road campus.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic full-time, permanent Property Services Assistant to join our Property Team and take responsibility for the upkeep and maintenance of the school buildings and grounds. Working across three schools on our Remuera campus, this is a varied and busy role in which you will use your all-round property maintenance skills to ensure that buildings, facilities and grounds are maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Building and Facilities Maintenance: Maintenance and repair work across the campus.
- Groundskeeping: Maintaining school grounds and sports fields to a high standard.
- Site Safety: Ensuring the property is clean, safe, and ready for school use every day.
- Security: Participate in an On-Call security roster.
- Experience: Previous property maintenance and grounds experience is essential.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong DIY or trade skills - part trade qualified preferred.
- Proactive Mindset: A "can-do" attitude with a keen eye for detail.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact warmly and appropriately with staff, students, and parents.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to manage a physical workload. Heavy lifting and working with heights will be required at times.
- Community Spirit: You must enjoy working in an environment centred around children.
- A current full NZ driver’s licence
