Saint Kentigern College invites Expressions of Interest from passionate and motivated Cricket Coaches to join our vibrant and competitive sporting programme for the upcoming season. We are seeking individuals who are committed to holistic player development, fostering a positive and inclusive team culture, and contributing proactively to the proud cricketing tradition of the College.
About the Opportunity
Contract coaching roles are available across a range of teams and levels within the College, from Colts development squads through to performance-grade cricket. Coaches will work within a supportive sports environment, collaborating with the Head of Cricket, a proactive Sports Department, and a well-connected coaching group.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate training sessions
- Supporting player development in technical, tactical, and mental skills
- Managing team preparation, matchday responsibilities, and season planning
- Upholding the Saint Kentigern values of Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Love
- Providing positive mentorship and fostering a positive and supportive team culture
We are seeking expressions of interest from coaches who demonstrate:
- Experience coaching cricket at school, club, or representative level
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of modern coaching approaches
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A commitment to youth development and athlete wellbeing
- Reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively
- Appropriate coaching qualifications (or a willingness to pursue them)
- Strongly established cricket programme
- Supportive coaching and performance environment
- Outstanding facilities and resources
