Fierce determination was in plentiful abundance during the Junior School cross country running races today. Year 0-3 students from the Boys’ School and Girls’ School as well as our Preschool students took on the challenging course at the Boys’ School in varying weather conditions in the battle for podium spots and house points. There was strong competition throughout each of the fields, as many of the placings came down to the wire with a few dead heats!
In keeping with the Boys’ and Girls’ Schools’ current value of sportsmanship, there was lots of support for the runners from their peers on the sideline, as well as from the many parents who turned out to cheer and clap.
Congratulations to everyone involved for doing their best, and especially to those who came in the top three.
