Information for 1A Rugby Final!

You’ve got your blue and white supporters gear ready and been practising singing ‘When the Saints go Marching in.’ Now here is everything else you need to know to support our 1st XV boys in the 1A rugby final against Auckland Grammar on Saturday.

WHAT: 1A Rugby Final v Auckland Grammar
WHERE: Eden Park, Mt Eden
WHEN: Saturday, August 22
KICK-OFF: 2:45pm


Gates open at 11.45am and entry is free. The North Stand will be the only stand open. Entry into the West end of the North Stand for Saint Kentigern supporters is through Gate B1, which is on the Walters Road side.


Both the South Stand and North Stand car parks will be open for general parking on a first in, first served basis. The bus hub (Gate M on Sandringham Rd) will also have limited parking spaces. Reimers Ave is a no parking area, while Cricket Ave and Walters Road are Residents Only Parking Zones. Other outlying residential streets will be available for parking. There will be disabled parking spaces available on site for those with a current mobility permit. Do not park on grass verges or across any resident driveways as these cars may be ticketed or towed.


There are two buses available from the College for a one-off cost of $2. They will be leaving the bus bay at 1.30pm. Following the match, the buses will be leaving Eden Park at 4.30pm to return to the College. To assist with planning and to ensure we have enough bus seats available, please register your intention by FRIDAY 4PM to Karen Smith at or phone 09 577 0650You will need to let us know how many family members plan to catch the bus.


At no stage are any supporters allowed onto the playing surface, before, during or after the game.

So take the bus, car or train to get behind our team as they try to reclaim the prestigious 1A title as Auckland schoolboy rugby champions!
