George Resumes Television Role

September 01, 2015 at 8:26 AM

Boys’ School student, George Beca has been juggling school work and sporting activities with his busy acting role as a regular cast member of television comedy ‘Step Dave.’ The show, now in its second season, resumes tonight with George starring as Logan Gray. In the show, Logan plays the son of Cara Gray, who is dating the eponymous character Dave, a younger man.

According to the production company, ‘Logan doesn’t mind having ‘Step Dave’ in the house one bit – especially because it means he has a football opponent and someone who can willingly play PlayStation with him for hours. Not to mention Dave will even pretend to be a spaceship and fly Logan around the house – if Marion [Logan’s grandmother] doesn’t tell them off first.’

Producer Mark Beesley says George ‘nailed’ his second season on the show. ‘Your work as Logan this season has been better than ever and we've all enjoyed your performances so much,’ he told George, who is in Year 6. ‘Logan is such a highlight of the show. Your hard work and discipline on set and in knowing your part has also been very impressive – you’ve set an example for others to follow.’

We are looking forward to watching George in ‘Step Dave’ on TV2 at 8.35pm on Tuesday nights and also seeing what his budding acting talent and diligent work ethic brings in the future!
