Writer, illustrator, poet, Wearable Artist and film costume designer Fifi Colston visited the Girls’ School Library this week to talk about the process and method of her book illustrations.

The girls were all very interested to hear about her scriptwriting work for Weta Workshop on Jane and the Dragon and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and as a costume illustrator on The Hobbit in 2010. She also read extracts of her books to the girls.

To date Fifi has illustrated 33 books and is also a regular entrant and finalist in the Montana Wearable Arts Show.
