1A Rugby Final This Saturday!

The College 1st XV are out to defend the 1A Auckland Rugby title at this weekend’s final against Auckland Grammar. It’s the third year in a row that these two teams have played each other in the final and it promises to be a great game!

Please note that the game will be played at Western Springs Stadium. There is plenty of parking available there but the College will also be running three buses for students and their families, leaving the College bus bays at 1pm and returning straight after the game. There is a $2 gold coin charge for transport.

Supporters for each team will be directed to separate stands at the stadium.

What: 1A Rugby Final v. Auckland Grammar
When: Saturday 23 August
Kick off: 2.30pm
Venue: Western Springs Stadium, Stadium Rd, Western Springs, Auckland
Transport: Three buses will leave Saint Kentigern College at 1pm, return approximately 4.30pm
Transport cost: $2 gold coin

To assist with planning and to ensure we have enough bus seats available, please register your intention by FRIDAY 4PM if you are planning to travel on the buses leaving from College. You will need to let us know how many family members plan to catch the bus.

We now have more information about where supporters may park, and the entry and seating areas for Saint Kentigern supporters.

 

Parking Restrictions
For those travelling to the game by car tomorrow, there will be parking restrictions along Stadium Road and will be limited to those that have received official wristbands. All drivers must have a wristband to access the restricted parking zone.

 

General parking will be available in the two public parking spaces along Great North Road, located next to the Caltex Service Station and past the intersection opposite Western Springs Park.

Entry to Stadium
Entry to the stadium will be through the Main gate on Stadium Drive. The Old Mill Rd gate will be open also. Please refer to the map for entry and seating allocation for Saint Kentigern supporters.

Please Note
At no stage are any supporters allowed within the playing area before, during or after the game. Enjoy the game! Go Saint Kentigern!
