Intermediate schools from around Auckland gathered over the weekend for the annual Waterpolo New Zealand Tim Sonderer Memorial Tournament.

The Boys’ School A team finished in 3rd place in the A grade. Goalie, Josh Fenton was named MVP of the Tournament having scored the only two goals in their final game for third or fourth against Sacred Heart.

Placing first in the B grade, the B team has now won back to back titles as this is the second year in a row they have topped the division at the Tim Sonderer Memorial Tournament. After losing their first game 8-2 they completely turned their performance around, winning all the following games! They beat Rosmini in the final, 4 – 2 with Jackson Horton named as MVP. This was a great turnaround, as they were placed 16th at the Winterfest Tournament two weeks ago.
