Over four days last week, 12 Saint Kentigern College students competed in the Auckland Tennis Champion of Champions competition. This is an individual event with the points of the students’ individual results going towards an overall top boys school and top girls school trophy.
This long-standing annual school tennis event was established to give the top two players at each age level from each school in the Greater Auckland area the opportunity to compete with their peers. Many of New Zealand’s leading tennis players have taken part in the tournament during their school days.
The finals of all events were played at Scarbro Tennis Centre, Merton Road, Glen Innes on the morning of Thursday 12 March.
