Our Middle School students were thrilled to welcome legendary Olympian Barbara Kendall for an engaging and inspiring session. With her Olympic medals and flag in tow, Barbara captivated the room as she shared her incredible journey, from a near-death sailing experience to becoming a world-class windsurfer. The girls were enthralled, hanging on every word as she recounted her Olympic triumphs—gold, silver, and bronze across five Olympic Games. A highlight for many was getting to hold the hardware, a tangible reminder of her success.

Barbara’s visit left a lasting impact, reminding the students that with determination, hard work, and grit, even the wildest dreams are possible. As a trailblazing female athlete, we were grateful to have such an incredible role model address the next generation.
