Following on from the gold medal winning effort at the AIMS Games last term, there was more success for Year 8 student, Daniel Persson who won the boys’ division at the Auckland Intermediate Schools Championships this week. 

Fellow Year 8 student, James McPherson finished 4th in the same division meaning both Daniel and James have qualified for the North Island finals in December. 

Yu Dian Dong and Ella Simmons were also proud to win the respective boys’ and girls’ consolation finals. 

Well done to all the students who played on the day and good luck to Daniel and James for the next round of their competition.
