In perfect weather conditions, the Girls’ School Year 0-3 students, along with the support of their House Prefects, streamed onto the Boys’ School top field for their annual athletics day. Smiles were shared all around as the girls had the opportunity to run, jump and throw in several activities over the course of the morning.

Dressed in their House colours, the junior girls dashed the 60 metre sprints, leapt their furthest in the long jump, bounced along in the sack races and tossed in the ball throw and discus. Supports joined the girls to cheer them on and show their support.

The girls thoroughly enjoyed the day and congratulated one another on their efforts to achieve their personal best. Well done to Chalmers who took out first place and to Hamilton for finishing in second and Wishart in third!
