After some early morning rain, the weather cleared to produce perfect conditions for the Boys’ School Year 4-6 athletics championships at Mt Smart on Friday. This was reflected in the results with fast times, big jumps and long throws recorded. Ethan Knox won six of the eight events in the Year 4 competition including three new records in the 400m, 800m and discus! Benjamin Hardie took out three of the Year 5 events and George Beca had four firsts and a second place in the Year 6 competition. Well done to all the winners and place-getters!
