Congratulations to Boys’ School Year 7 student, Jack Duncan who was awarded 1^st place in the Impromptu category of the Remuera Zone Speech Competition. Jack Duncan was given five minutes to prepare an impromptu speech on ‘Gold’ which he delivered with great expression and very good structure. He now goes on to the Auckland Champion of Champions competition later in September.

Jack wasn’t the only Boys’ School student to be recognised for his speech making skill. Gabriel Ross entertained the audience with his speech on ‘Imagination’ and came second overall in the Prepared Speech Category.

Congratulations to both Gabriel and Jack for their fantastic achievements and good luck to Jack for the next round of competition!
