The Preschoolers had an exciting morning at the Boys’ School today for their annual cross country and tabloid sports events. Beginning with the cross country, the 3 and 4-year-old boys and girls raced with great determination as their families and the Boys’ School juniors cheered from the side-lines.

To conclude the races, the preschoolers had the pleasure of watching their parents’ race around the track for the first time ever. They, of course, found this hilarious and cheered loud enough for everyone to hear!

After a well-deserved morning tea break, the entourage of supporters and enthusiastic preschoolers made their way to the Jubilee Sports Centre to start the tabloid sports. From sack races, to mini hurdles and egg and spoon races, everyone had a fantastic time.

The morning was a positive experience for all and gave the preschoolers a taste of sporting competition in readiness for when they start school. All students approached each activity with confidence and did a great job.
