The role: We are looking for an experienced Business Partner who has the ability and confidence to be the first point of contact for all aspects of P&C generalist activities. As an expert in employee relations, you will be providing advice and support to managers, as well as education and coaching along the way. Focusing on our teams based at our Pakuranga campus you will enjoy building face to face relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Key duties and responsibilities:You will provide expert guidance and coaching throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring seamless experiences from recruitment to leadership development.
You will invest the time and energy required to truly understand your stakeholder’s perspective whilst remaining compliant, clear, and courageous in the coaching and advice that you will provide.
You will input into the people policies and practices that support the achievement of our strategic vision, goals, and culture.
In a busy environment, you will be agile and energetic displaying initiative and independence whilst enjoying working collaboratively within a team.
Key skills and experiences: Strong generalist HR/ER skills, ideally with experience in a unionized environment.
A proven track record of stakeholder management through clear communications and delivery.
A coaching mindset and the ability to support and guide managers in people practices and decisions.
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources and 5+ years of experience at a business partner level.
