Outstanding Scholarship Results in 2021

In the 2021 NZQA Scholarship examination, 36 of our College students gained a total of 51 Scholarship awards across a range of subjects.

Four students, Sean Wang (Year 11), Nathaniel Bailey (Year 13), Matthew Chandler (Year 13) and Sarina Wang (Year 13), gained an Overall Scholarship Award. These are awarded to students who gain Scholarships in three or more subjects.

We would also like to acknowledge other noteworthy performances from Haokun He (Year 13), Ethan Liu (Year 11), Evan Metcalfe (Year 13), Alicia Lynn (Year 13) and Daniel Huang (Year 13) for each gaining two awards. Ivy Wang (Year 12) came in top in New Zealand in Chinese.

In the 2021 examinations, our Year 10 and Year 11 students performed exceptionally well with 14 Scholarships out of 51, including 5 Outstanding Scholarships, achieved. Year 11 student Sean Wang gained a total of 5 Scholarships and Year 10 Nicholas Mckinlay achieved an outstanding recognition in Calculus.
