Over the weekend, 13 students from the College and Boys’ School competed at the annual KartSport Area Schools’ Championships. This year, competitors from 29 Schools braved the wet and challenging conditions on a day when the rain poured down!
Each division raced 4 x 10 lap heats, with the 5th and final heat cancelled as the weather further deteriorated. Our teams demonstrated skilled race craft with some exceeding speeds over 100kmh on the track!
With results tallied from the top two placings, Saint Kentigern won both the Primary/Intermediate and Secondary School divisions. Congratulations to the place getters and good luck to those going on to the national event!
