On 30 August, three of our talented teams competed in the Robocup National Finals at St Cuthbert's College, showcasing their skills in programming and robotics using EV3 Lego robots.
Two Year 10 teams took part in the Senior Rescue event, which challenges participants to create robots capable of locating and 'rescuing' objects autonomously. James Wang led the way for our College, securing an impressive second place. Following closely behind were Nathan Porter and Lucas Porter, who earned a well-deserved third place.
Our Year 11 team, comprised of Leo Lu, Kaden Marzuki, Ryan Wang, and Kai Wang (in absentia), performed brilliantly in the Soccer event, winning an exciting final match against a Year 12 team from Pakuranga College. The teams walked away with well-earned prizes and a sense of accomplishment. It was a day of learning, collaboration, and innovation, and we look forward to participating in future competitions.
