2019 EXTERNAL ACADEMIC RESULTS: NCEA
With thanks to Mrs Angee Robertson, Deputy Principal
There is a flush of energy that heralds a new year, and as we usher in the new decade, enthusiasm across the College and our community is high. Part of this excitement lies in our 2019 academic results for both NCEA and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. Those with Excellence Endorsements in NCEA and Distinction in IB are to be applauded and celebrated. Equally, we also commend the academic personal bests and goals of our students; acknowledging that effort and integrity are key values and cornerstones of our Mission Statement.
We are committed, as educators to empower every student to achieve their personal academic goals. We acknowledge that ‘Ehara taku toa, te toa takitahi, Engai he toa takitini - success and strength is not the work of one, but the work of many.’ With that, I want to acknowledge our incredible teaching staff who consistently go the extra mile to support and strengthen our students with academic goals. As well as this, I also acknowledge the educational partnership and commitment from all of our Saint Kentigern community- thank you on behalf of all our students for your support and encouragement.
While the full IB Diploma results and student highlights have been reported separately but a special congratulations to the 30% of the cohort who achieved over 40pts.
