Miss Hannah Bryant, Voice
Hannah Bryant has completed a BMus with Honours in Classical Voice Performance at the University of Auckland, under the tutelage of Patricia Wright in 2013.
Hannah's interest in teaching began in 2009 as a children’s orchestra, choir and flute teacher on Auckland's North Shore. After gaining her tertiary qualifications in singing, Hannah decided to pursue voice teaching full time. Hannah now enjoys a combination of directing junior choirs, and individual and group singing instruction for students ranging from Year 2-13 around Auckland, mainly at St Kentigern College, Kings School and Baradene College.
Hannah has sung with the University of Auckland Chamber Choir, Auckland Youth Choir, Opera Factory, Auckland Youth Orchestra, and as an oratorio soloist with the North Shore Chorale and Holy Trinity Cathedral Choir.
Hannah has a passion for education and vocal pedagogy, with a particular love of teaching young students who are approaching music or singing for the first time. She has completed two introductory courses in Estill Method, and continues to pursue her own vocal training with current University of Auckland voice teachers.
Hannah's aim is to expose students to a variety of repertoire, with the intent of developing a love of singing and furthermore, the confidence to be a soloist or chorister in their school environment. Lessons include freeing the students natural voice, gaining knowledge in music reading and musicianship. Hannah's aim is to create a studio space where enjoyment and learning happen simultaneously, and lessons are adapted to suit the personality, ability, and learning style of the individual.
